First Day

“So Will what all classes are worth taking here?” Constance said but Will just nod his head. Like he wasn’t even listening.

Oh so you’re just not going to listen. Hemp, well then lets see how well you pay attention to this. Also that is very rude!

Constance got a grin on her face. She was thinking about what she should do. Should she take off her shirt or just start talking about Will and how sexy he looks. She didn’t know. She settled on taking off her shirt. So she sat her bag on her walking trunk and started to take off her button down shirt to have on just her lace tank-top. Then she let down her colorful hair. It was very curly and sexy. And with that she said again to Will, “So what classes are good here? Which ones should I sleep in?” Constance said this and looked at Will in the eyes.

Now I’ve got you’re attention. Let’s see how long I can keep it.

“I’m waiting, what classes or should I just go find Hayley and Mist and the tell Miss Blackwater that you couldn’t show me around and I got lost. Will, will you please pay attention to what I have to say because I don’t talk all that much. It’s just that I’m trying to find some stuff out. Will are you listening to me now or not?” Constance was getting irritated now.

Will heard Constance ask which class or classes were worth taking at Dragon Academy, and Will was about to say none of them, but he knew better. Though, before Will could think of an answer, Constance started to unbutton her shirt, showing her tanktop, and she let her hair down. Will rolled his eyes when he realized that Constance was just trrying to get his attention, and she did, and Will sighed, still thinking of a reply.

Then, Constnace started to get a little impatient, and said (and asked) for Will to listen, and said that it would be his fault if Constance got lost. Will let out a small groan and finally said, "Look, I'm thinking, so wait. I really don't know, since you and I are different, so you'll just have to wait and see. For now, do what seems interesting or something!" Will sighed, rubbing his temple. Why do girls always have to be so difficult..... Will complained to himself as he finished his speech.

"Well fine then I will find something." Constance paused and thought for a moment, "You know something you don’t have to be so rude so often. I just met you and I can see just by how you’re acting, you don’t want this job of showing me around. And I can understand why. I come in a day early and the Headmistress gives you the job of showing the 'country hick' around,” Constance made air quotes when she said country hick, “instead you would rather be back in your dorm looking out the window thinking of some way to entertain yourself for the next, what 4 years of your life." Constance just looked at Will waiting for a response. She was not happy now, in fact she was becoming pissed, and not because she was PMSing, but because Will was being a jerk. He was rubbing his temples now.

Oh so that’s how it’s going to be. Well he has another thing coming right now if he keeps acting this way. Constance sighed and took a deep breathe. I’ll just have to think and stay calm with him. Just remember you’re new and you’re a girl. He obviously isn’t overcome by my beauty, so that’s good, he's not stearing at me like taht boy over there. Creapy, but he is sort of cute, right back to Will. Umm, what else can I say? Think, oh I could just tell him what I like that might help. And I should apologize, I’ve been a real jerk too, he probably thinks I’m a very difficult person to be with. Ugh, this is why I hate first days and meeting new people.

“Well let’s see I have the powers of shape-shifting and control over nature and earth. I love to draw and paint. I play many sports; including volleyball, football, and horseback riding, yes horseback riding is a sport. Um, what else, um, I also like to read a lot and I also like to be with people like me.” Constance paused and her face softened, “Um and I am sorry. I know I am being a little bit of a pregnant dog right now. Trust me, girls aren’t always this complicated.” She chuckled a little when she said the last part about the girls thing, she looked at Will waiting for his answer.

Constance replied that she’ll find something, but then she paused before she continued. Then, she said that Will was being rude very commonly since he had met up with Constance. What if I just felt like being rude? Will replied, but didn't say this out loud. Constnace continued speaking, saying that Will didn't want to do the job of showing her around, whcih was true, by the way he was acting, which was also true. At least she's catching along.Will noted to himself as he continued to listen to Constance.

Constance continued to talk, and she also noted that Will 'would rather be back in his dorm looking out the window thinking of some way to entertain himself for the next 4 years of his life.' Will just nodded, thinking to himself, Yes and no. yes I would rather be up in my dorm, and no I wouldn't want to look out the window thinking of some way to entertain myself for the rest of the school years here. Will was satified with his answer, except, as usual, he didn't say it out loud. Though this was during the time period in which Will was rubbing his temples, so Will knew that Constance was either ignoring him, or extremely pissed, since Constance was no longer speaking. Then, as Will gave a quick glance at Constance, he saw that she was in deep thought, and had no objection into interrupting her thoughts.

After a couple of silence between the two students, Constance began talking, but she began with a very awkward topic that dealt with nothing she had state ealier about Will. The topic Constance had just started that startled Will so much, was about what Constnace did and liked. Is this girl crazy? Will thought to himself, but he listened to Constnace anyways. When Constance caught herself, she apoligized, and what she said after that made Will let out a slight chuckle. Since Will felt like it, he just replied, "It's fine. Thouh, you sure like and do a lot of things."

Constance nodded her head in agreement. She was always very active in something, weather it school or training her powers. That is one of the reasons she is able to stay so fit and skinny. Constance thought for a moment.

What should I say now? I want to keep the conversation going, hmm; I could ask what he does or something like that. Ya that is the only thing I can come up with.

“Ya my family is pretty wealthy, I was able to do just about anything I wanted to do. My parents tried to get me to do less physical sports, or none at all. Heck, if they had their way I would be here with a butler carrying my bags, I would be in high heels and in a purple floor length casual dress with a white hat to match the dress. Oh to top that off I would also have on a big diamond ring on my left hand, and my fiancé would probably be walking me in right now saying something like ‘Oh you are way too good for this place. Why don’t you come home and I will help you with your powers.’” Constance chuckled when she said this. She thought back to the Christmas before.

It was only this past Christmas that her parents asked her Aunt Renee to bring that charming young man they had met at her cousins 5th birthday. His name was Jack, and his family was very wealthy too, to go with that, Jack really liked Constance. Her parents had spoken to Jack about having an arranged mirage, of course Jack said yes. When he asked Constance in front of everybody in their family to marry him, she cried and turned to her parents. She knew that this was their doing. She took a deep breathe and said, “How dare you do this to me? I am only 16, I don’t turn 17 for another 5 months! And you asked Jack to ask me to marry him, how dare you! You know I have a boyfriend, or at least I did. Thanks to you he broke up with me, and he told me he couldn’t handle my family being so ruling of me. And to do this to me in front of the whole family at Christmas, why?” At that time Sam had stepped in and escorted Constance out of the room.

She shook her head to get the memory out of her head.
“So with knowing that information what do you advise me to do with my schedule?” Constance looked at Will and smilled.

When Will stated that Constnace liked/did a lot of things, she nodded in agreement after he finished speaking. Then, Will noticed Constance think about something, so he just kept quite, as usual. A few silent seconds between the two students passed, before Constnace broke it, starting up with another topic.

She said her family was wealthy, and that she was able to do whatever she wanted to do. Lucky. Constance also said that her parents either wanted Constance to do les physical sports, or none at the most. She also said that if her parents had their way of life, she would be here having a butler carry her bags, and wearing a dress with a hat and high heels. Okay, she's extremely rich... Constance added that she would also have a huge diamond ring on her left ring finger, which made Will look at her in surpise. Before Will coud get a thought into his mind, Constnace said that her fiancé would most likely be walking with her. She's engaged...

No sooner after Constance said that, Will saw her go back into her thoughts, so Will left her as she was, as usual. This time, a few silent minutes passed by, and Constance asked what he advised her to do with her schedule. Before he answered, Will took and deep breath, and let out a sigh. "Well, don't stuff yourself with subjects, and give plenty of time to do homework. Also, you also want to have some casual time, so yeah, that's about it..." Will replied.

"That won’t be a problem. I like school but I don’t want my whole like here evolve around it. So the mandatory classes and time to do everything and me time. Okay I think I got it." Constance had remembered that Will's face had a shocked look on it when she said fiancée'.

I might want to tell him I'm not engaged. Thanks to my parents I would be with Jack, Hm. I don’t even like him, stupid parents.

"Um Will, I saw that your face was sort of surprised when I said fiancée', to tell you the truth, it was my parents idea. They wanted for me to have an arranged marriage to this guy named Jack. I said no. and to clear it up even more, I'm single, so I was just saying that thing about the ring to state that my parents are jerks half of the time. So being rich isn’t that fun for me, don’t think I'm lucky.” Constance took a deep breathe to get the thought of Jack out of her head. She turned to Will and said, “So where are these infamous girls dorms? I think it would be better if I dropped my stuff off there before the tour started.”

Constance smiled and gave Will a really relaxed look.

When Will talked about the classes, constnace replied that it wouldn't be a problem. She said she liked school, which Will thought was crazy, but she didn't want her life to revolve around it.

Will just shrugged when Constnace quickly listed the important things Will had said about the classes in Dragon Academy. Even for him, he tried to take the least amount of classes possible.

Then, Constance explained about her arranged marriage, and Will listened. She talked all about it, how she didn't want it, and she was going to stay single unless she wanted to find her person. Will just listened in a bored way, looking straight in front of him.

When Constnace asked where the girl dorms were, Will just replied, "You first go to the main office, which is on the first floor. Then, they will assign you a dorm, and show to it basically. The girl dorms are numbered from 100-200, so your dorm will be one of them." Will sighed, that was a lot to say, but hye, that was life.

Constnace said it would be better if she was to drop off her bags before Will started the tour, but Will just looked at her and remembered he was supposed to show her around. Luckily for him, the clock stroke time and it was time for Will to get to his next class, Physics, so Will said, "Look, I got to go to Physics. Go get your dorm, settle yourself down and find the Physics room, which is also on the first floor. Just wave throught the window, and I'll come to you."

The clock started ticking, and Will knew he had to go, now, so he waved goodbye, and raced up the stairs, going to his dorm, so he could get his books, and then going to Physics.

Before Constance could say anything Will was gone and up the stairs. He had said to go to the office to get her dorm assignment and drop her things off. Then he said to go down to the first floor and go to the physics room, which was where he would be.

"Okay, bye then." Constance waved but it was a little too late he was already gone. "Well back to the front office then hum Stardust." Constance turned around and started to walk back towards the main office.

Well he was nice about that. Too bad he had to run to get his books to get to his Physics class. At least he waved bye, instead of just leaving.

Constance walked into the main office and walked up to the desk and rang the bell. "Hello." A woman in a pretty pink sun dress walked in. "So how can I help you? Wait let me guess, you need your dorm assignment. Now what is your name please?" Constance looked at the woman and smiled and said, "I am Constance Jones." The woman pulled out a box full of fat badge envelops. The searched through them until she came to Constance’s.

"Here you go darling. Hope you like your dorm. And I couldn’t help but notice that you have a dog, what are you going to do with her when you go to class?" Constance hadn’t thought about that one yet. "Um I was going to have her go with me to class right now until I get everything unpacked. And then I was going to figure something out. DO the teachers allow you to have pets with students in class?"

"It depends on the teacher. And that sounds like a good plan, just be careful of her. Now here you go and good luck."

The woman smiled at Constance, and she took the envelope and walked out of the office. "Now lets see," she opened the envelope and took out her dorm assignment, "So dorm number
115. So let’s go Stardust."

Constance walked to her dorm and didn’t get lost, which surprised her. But then again Will did tell her what floor it was on and her dorm was close to the stairs. She put the key into the lock and turned it and walked in. it was a good size room, just a little big for one person, but it worked. Stardust followed Constance in and jumped onto the bed and rolled over and smiled.

“Get off of there. I still have to sleep there you know.” Constance snapped her fingers and the trunk walk into the room and stopped at the end of the bed. The plant came out from under it and placed itself back into its pot. Constance looked at the school uniform and groaned, it was a skirt and blouse.

Do I really have to wear this? It’s so girly, but it is the school uniform. What can I do to make it more of me? Constance thought for a minute and then got it. She opened up her clothes trunk and dug through it until she found a blue tank-top that she could wear under the blouse and she put that on and put the blouse on over it and then cringed as she put on the skirt, but when she looked at herself in the mirror, she noted that she looked nice. And now for the shoes. Um oh I know, she dug through her trunk again and pulled out a pair of boots that where new and weren’t dirty yet. She put those on and said, “There done.” She grabbed her backpack, which already had notebooks and pencils, books and drawing stuff in it, and whistled for Stardust to fallow and walked out of the dorm and locked the door and said, “To the Physics room on the first floor and find Will. Simple enough.” Constance walked down the hallway with Stardust at her feet and smiled, she was finally some where her parents couldn’t criticize her. And she had met someone she liked, and he was nice.
